Serving since 2004 as a police officer for the Town of North East Police Department. His responsibilities are: He is the department’s DARE officer. He’s also the Taser trainer and Coordinator, Accident report (ACRS) trainer and coordinator, Live Scan trainer, and Field Training Officer (for new officers). His duties include: handling complaints for service while working a rotating shift paroling the Town of North East, assisting allied police and fire agencies working special details.

Michael S. Hickey
Serving since 2008 as a police officer with the Town of North East Police Department. Certifications: firearms instructor, defensive tactics instructor, RADAR/LIDDR instructor, and O.C. spray instructor. Duties: assigned patrol duties, handle complaints that may arise, investigate crimes, and serves the public.
John Fakner
Serving since 2014 as a police officer for the Town of North East Police Department. Previously worked as a police officer for three years in Baltimore City’s South East District. Currently holds a Bachelors of Science from California University of PA and a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
I became a police officer because it’s a career where I feel I can make a difference and where you never have two days that are the same. Every day is a new adventure and I am happy to protect and serve for the Town of North East.
Dennis R. Wood
Serving since 1999 as a police officer for the Town of North East Police Department. Numerous trainings and certifications from a previous 20 year career in law enforcement including Police Firearms Instructor, Police General Courses Instructor, Use of Force Instructor, Criminal Investigations, etc. Other training received while working at NEPD is a Preliminary Breath Test Instructor and training in the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training, Terrorism Response Tactics, Active Shooter Level I program. Every day I use this training and experience to better serve and protect the residents of the Town of North East.
Bilton Morgan
Serving since 2007 as a police officer for the Town of North East Police Department. I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1988 were I was honorably discharged. I have 18 1/2 years of prior Law Enforcement experience. I have numerous training certifications including Homicide Investigation, Certified Child Abuse Investigator, Criminal Investigation, Evidence Detection and Collecting etc. I am a Firearms Instructor and also assist in teaching In-Service Classes. I am assigned to patrol duties. Duties include answering calls for service, investigating criminal cases, traffic accidents, assist in Community Policing Efforts, and conducting property checks of businesses and privately owned residences as required.
I joined the Law Enforcement Field with the hope of being able to help provide a safer more secure community to live in. I like to think that every day we make a difference and achieve that goal. I love serving the citizens of North East and the surrounding community and consider it a privilege to wear this uniform every day.
Anthony Williams
Serving since 2018 as a police officer with the Town of North East Police Department. From 2011 until 2013 he was commissioned as a Special Police Officer in Baltimore City, where he patrolled and enforced Maryland State laws and Baltimore City ordinances. From 2013-2017 he worked as an investigator for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender. In 2017, he then pursued a certified career by attending the Anne Arundel County Community College Entry Level Police Academy. He is assigned to patrol duties, working various cases, and shifts to help ensure the safety and security of the residence of the Town of North East. He particularly enjoys criminal investigation and strives to resolve ever case proficiently.

Serving since 2020 as a police officer for the Town of North East Police Department. Currently holds a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice from Neumann University in PA. First certified in PA from Delaware County Community College Police Academy in 2019 before moving and becoming certified in the State of Maryland.
I became a police officer to become part of something greater than myself. To put forth diligent effort in order to create an environment to allow members of the community to grow and live their life to the fullest potential. I am honored to protect and serve for the Town of North East.
