I am very pleased to have the privilege of welcoming you to the North East, Maryland community, located in rural Cecil County, Maryland. We have a charming Main Street surrounded by a variety of homes. Our residents enjoy sharing the rich history and charm of our town, and our business owners have provided a variety of dining and shopping experiences. We have a scenic town park with picnic tables, pavilions, and a large playground. We are located at the head of the North East River, so we are afforded all of the leisure activities that the water provides, including swimming, boating, fishing, and crabbing. We hope you enjoy your time in our town as much as we enjoy welcoming you.

With best regards,
Robert F. McKnight, Mayor
