On June 14, 1777, Flag Day is a Nationwide Observance holiday celebrated in the United States. This is on the same day, the United States Army celebrates its birthday.

People across the United States celebrate Flag Day on this day each year to honor the United States flag and to commemorate the flag’s adoption.
