National Flag Day will be observed on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at North East Community Park on Walnut Street in North East, Maryland.

The ceremony will take place from 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM and honors the adoption of the United States flag on June 14, 1777. Flag Day is observed annually across the country as a time to recognize the history, meaning, and enduring symbolism of the American flag.

The observance also coincides with the birthday of the United States Army.

Residents and visitors are invited to attend this community ceremony as we honor our nation’s flag and those who have served under it.
