1. OLD TOWN LOCKUP
This two story brick edifice, circa 1885, was built along the Old Philadelphia to Baltimore Road. The building served as the town hall until the late 1980's.

2. WEST LOG HOME.
This late 18th century colonial-style dwelling was once used as an inn and stage coach stop. The First National Bank of North East currently owns this building.

3. ANDY ANDERSON'S HOME.
This lovely example of the Victorian era was originally the home of a local hardware store owner. It remains today as a private home.

4. MILL HOUSE.
The mill house was built in sections, with the earliest part dating to the first quarter of the 18th century. An earlier mill site was originally adjacent to the house. Paneling from this home is in the Cecil bedroom at Winterthur museum.

5. 5 & 10 ANTIQUE MARKET.
This large frame Victorian building was originally constructed as a hotel. Today it houses a multi-dealer antique market. Don't miss a walk through this store!

6. 110 SOUTH MAIN STREET.
This masonry and frame structure served as the post office. Renovations have created several shop sites.

7. SIMCOE HOUSE
This log and frame 18th century structure has served as a home and offices over its history for a prominent North East family.

8. REYNOLDS HOUSE
This log home represents the Federal period.  Today it is a private home.

9. THE WILLIAM RONEY HOUSE.
This Victorian home, with its checked lattice, retains many of its original architectural elements, including a built-in water reservoir in the second story.  It continues today as  a private residence.

10. HANNUM HOUSE
This house is on The Maryland Historical Sites Survey.   Early maps indicate a coffin maker resided here.

11. ST. MARY ANNE'S CHURCH.
This Colonial era church retains much of the original exterior.  The bell tower in the south wall was donated by the Brookings Family.  The church is surrounded by a very early cemetery.

12. NORTH EAST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.
The congregation dates from 1781.  The first Methodist Parsonage in the United States was located here.

13. RONEY & WELLS.
This old structure served as a hardware store until the family closed it in the early 1990's.  Today this is England's Colony on the Bay Decoy & Gift Shop.

14. UPPER BAY MUSEUM
The Museum houses a collection of water-oriented artifacts.  Built in 1880, this structure was originally a fish house.
