Service Charge - A reconnection fee of $100.00 is assessed to all accounts where payment has not been received in the Town Hall as of 4:30 P.M. on the Final Due Date. Water Termination - Meters will be turned off for all unpaid accounts after the final due date. The reconnection fee applies whether or not the Town has physically disconnected the water supply (Code of Ordinances Section 7-502 - Penalties for Overdue Water Rent). Water Restoration - Account must be paid in full and payment must be received in the office no later than 2:00 P.M. in order for water to be restored that same day. Town Hall Office Hours - The Town Hall will accept payments Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Payments after office hours may be made through the mail slot located in front of Town Hall, 106 S. Main Street. However, payment received in the mail slot after 4:30 P.M. will be considered as a payment made the following business day. Please note: Payments made after 4:30 P.M. on the final due date will be considered as payment made the following business day. Returned Checks - A returned check fee of $30 and any applicable late fees as of the date the check is received in the office will be assessed to the account.
